ASTD-SD Programs is committed to providing our members and community with the latest learning related information available.  We invite you to help us roll-out a robust year of programs in 2010, including emerging trends (e.g. learning technology), best practices, competency development and networking opportunities.  Here's to knowledge sharing and we look forward to hearing from you! 

Career Checkpoints

Each quarter we offer a Career Checkpoint session after our monthly chapter meetings.  It is a 1.5 hour session where anyone in transition or considering a job move can come to network and gain insight. If you are interested in facilitating or contributing to a Career Checkpoint, please contact Jill Macinko at jillmacinko@cox.net.

Consultants SIG

We are starting a new Consultant’s SIG which will be held after the chapter meeting once per quarter.  We are currently looking for a facilitator for this SIG.  Please contact Jill Macinko at jillmacinko@cox.net if you are interested in facilitating or contributing.

Training Fundamentals SIG

The Training Fundamentals SIG is looking for a new coordinator. The Training Fundamentals SIG is for everyone interested in gaining new skills, entering the training and development field, or simply gleaming some new ideas from those in the industry.  If you’re interested in helping to bring facilitators, or be a facilitator yourself, please contact Jill Macinko at jillmacinko@cox.net if you are interested.
