We have launched several Special Interest Groups to meet our member’s needs and hope to launch more if these are successful.

Career Checkpoint
Each quarter we offer a Career Checkpoint session after our monthly chapter meetings. It is a 1.5 hour session where anyone in transition or considering a job change can come to network and gain insight. These sessions are always different; sometimes a facilitator speaks on a particular topic, sometimes there are career coaches and resume reviews available, and we are always open to new suggestions and ideas. This is a free event for members or non-members who attend the chapter meeting immediately preceding the Career Checkpoint. Sign up at the chapter meeting registration table. Space is limited.
We are excited to have Maureen Orey facilitate our Feburary Career Checkpoint. The topic is Strategic Goal-Setting and getting your career on track for 2010.

We meet every third Tuesday of the month from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Training Fundamentals (Postponed until further notice)
The Training Fundamentals SIG is for everyone interested in gaining new skills, entering the training and development field, or simply gleaming some new ideas from those in the industry.
We meet the last Monday of the month from 6 to 7:30pm at the USE Credit Union in Sorrento Valley.
