<p style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-layout-grid-align: none"><span style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial; FONT-SIZE: 10pt">ASTD San Diego will honor outstanding learning and performance achievements through its 2009 PEAK Performance Awards.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>Emphasis will be placed on recognizing those learning and performance initiatives which exemplify <strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">P</strong>erformance <strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">E</strong>xcellence and <strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">A</strong>pplied <strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">K</strong>nowledge.</span></p>

<p style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><span style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial; FONT-SIZE: 10pt">The deadline for submitting the PEAK Performance Awards application is July 25th, 2009 at midnight PST.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>Entries will be reviewed during July and August, and applicants will be notified of their results in late September.</span></p>

<p style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><span style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial; FONT-SIZE: 10pt">The PEAK Performance Awards Committee will review the submissions and rank them against a common set of criteria.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>Reviewers will assign ratings based on analysis of evidence that the applying organization goes beyond common measures of excellence and uses learning as a strategic business tool.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span></span></p>
