PEAK Performance Award
Successful Learning and Performance initiatives deserve to be highlighted and shared in order to promote innovation and excellence within our industry. Does this sound like something that applies to your department or organization?
2008 PEAK Performance Award winners will be chosen based on learning and performance initiatives that exemplify Performance Excellence and Applied Knowledge and will be ranked against a common set of evaluation criteria.
All winners will be honored at the ASTD San Diego Chapter Meeting in October, recognized in our monthly Newsletter and Datebook, and receive two complimentary tickets to Your Turn to Learn Conference in San Diego on November 7, 2008.

The most successful applications:
- Provide metrics and evidence of strong links between learning activities and performance.
- Show relevance of learning and performance to organizational goals.
- Give examples of the impact of learning and performance on organizational goals.
- Provide evidence to support statements. For example, it's not enough to say "employees can now do XYZ" without data or other measurements.
- Take a systematic approach to showing the effectiveness and impact of learning and performance.
Step 2 - Interview
The committee will determine which applications move on to the interview stage. On-site visits will be scheduled with those organizations as an opportunity to ask follow up questions and gather additional information. Submission of an application does not guarantee a site visit.
Step 3 - And the winners is...
- Winners will be notified by August 29, 2008
- Winners will also be honored at the ASTD San Diego Chapter Meeting on October 22, 2008 and invited to share their stories in a panel discussion format.
