March 10 - North County Breakfast Meeting

Where’s My Bucket? How to tap into state and federal funding and stretch your training budget!

In many organizations today if training is not a customer or regulatory requirement it likely won’t happen. As you know it is difficult at best to demonstrate training’s return on investment and even if you can, the costs are still “fronted”. An alternative to hoping for a training budget, is to create one yourself. This can be done through State and Federal funding. There are “buckets” of money available for training, if you know how to identify and tap into them.

Join us on March 10 at the North County Breakfast Meeting for a discussion with Thomas Bright and Wendy Evers

ASTD San Diego Achieves 100% on CORE

ASTD National requires ASTD chapters nationwide to meet chapter operating requirements (CORE) - a set of performance guidelines designed to help chapters deliver consistent benefits to members. CORE includes five elements: administration, finance, membership, professional development, and communication.

Chapter leaders work hard to ensure ASTD San Diego consistently beats the minimum operating requirements set forth by ASTD National, and we just received word from National ASTD that we did it once again! ASTD San Diego is one of 104 chapters to receive 100% on all 18 CORE elements.
